
Headingly To Lords
We are pleased to inform you that our 5-day Mental Health walk from Headingly to Lord's Cricket Ground has been successfully completed, covering a distance of 191 miles, We completed 151 Miles over the 5 days due to medical restrains. We would like to take this opportunity express our sincere appreciation to the participants and donors who generously contributed towards this event, making it a resounding success. We are thrilled to announce that we have raised a remarkable sum of £2240, which will be utilized towards our running costs, school outreach program, and sports club talks. We remain steadfast in our commitment to promoting better mental health and look forward to your continued support in future endeavours.

Day 1
Headingly to Rotherham
What an incredible experience we had on the first day of our journey! We embarked on our adventure by walking from Headingly to Rotherham, and let me tell you, it was no easy feat. The rain was coming down in sheets, the hills we had to climb were steep and challenging. But we didn't let that stop us We pushed ourselves to keep going, and finally, after what felt like an eternity, we arrived at the George Boutique Hotel. And let me you, it was worth every! The hotel was absolutely lovely, and we were so grateful to have a warm and cozy place to rest our heads after such a long challenging day.
Day 2
Rotherham to Bingham
The second day of our journey was a true test our endurance and determination as we embarked on a grueling 45-mile walk from Rotherham to Bingham. Despite the daunting distance, the team was highly motivated by the knowledge that our physiotherapist, Rich, was waiting for us at the Bingham Town House Hotel. And let me tell you, this hotel is an absolute gem, with its stunning architecture and a restaurant that we highly recommend to anyone looking for a dining experience. Upon our arrival, we were thrilled to meet up with Rich, who provided us with amazing massages and foot wraps to help us recover from the long arduous journey. His expertise and care were truly invaluable to the team, and we cannot thank him enough for his support. Overall, it was an incredible experience that we will never forget, and we are already looking forward to the next leg of our journey!


Day 3
Bingham to Corby
On the fourth day of their journey, the group of embarked on a challenging walk from Bingham to the Holiday Inn Corby, covering a total distance of 41 miles. The journey was made easier by the assistance of Rich, who carried the necessary equipment in his car and met the group at checkpoints to ensure proper hydration and nourishment. The group walked mostly in secluded areas, which offered stunning views, but the weather was not on their side, making the journey even more challenging. Despite the physical toll on their bodies, the group's fortitude allowed them to persevere and complete the journey. This is an impressive accomplishment that should be celebrated.
Day 4 & 5
Corby to Bedford and Bedford to Lords.
On Day 4 of their journey, the lads embarked on a challenging walk from Corby to Bedford. Despite the sweltering heat and the physical exhaustion that they had already endured, they managed to cover a distance of 12 miles. However, due to medical advice and the high blood pressure readings that they had recorded rest, which were 168/114/85, they had to shorten their journey. It was a difficult decision to make, but they knew that their health and well-being had to come first. Nevertheless, the lads refused to give up on their mission, and on Day 5, they pushed themselves even harder, walking a grueling 18 miles to reach their destination at Lords. Their unwavering determination and perseverance in the face of adversity are truly inspiring and a testament to their strength of character.
